I'm in Dorset and with a couple of other Landies, I am the proud owner of a Land Rover 110 van that Adrian Flux say, after two years of claim free cover, they cannot find a market to insure it.
Aren't I lucky having such a special vehicle, despite their claims to insure modded land rovers.
The ASA are very interested in this as Flux's claims in their ads are at odds with reality.
I'm sure they can explain why they say one thing but do another.
The fine is only £50k per item - and I have several of them for Flux to answer.
Happy days...

welcome to the mad house, lol

as urs is a van are they classifying it as a commercial ,

i was with flux for 7x years then when i changed from a hippo to a discovery there quote was outrageous

went with A plan , found them extremely good, rang me and talked through all the quote , what extras were available and didn't try and force anything i didn't want

flux quoted me £1500 whilst A plan were a grand cheaper , inc extras like recovery , home start ncb protection and an extra 25 percent on the market value

clean licence , 7x years ncb, vehicle on drive way, aged 50

rang flux and wouldn't even budge on the price, found there telephone manner to be non existent

even when i emailed over at least 10 x other quotes via comparison sites that were at least a grand cheaper ,

flux didn't give a rats , rep was useless , didn't even bother replying to my emails

Good luck, I've had a bad experience with flux and will never ever use them again!

same with me , they couldn't care less , quoted me stupid prices , didn't even bother replying to my emails

customer service was crap when i spoke to them in the phone

the age of being loyal to a company now seems to have gone

I don't know why people don't try talking to Jamie from Flux on here. I hate insurance companies in general but having an ear on the inside is gold.

I would be most interested in what the real reason is behind the refusal to renew my policy was.
Supposed modified vehicle insurance policy 35686600 with ERS .
As I pointed out, I have owned the vehicle for two years.
The mods were made clear at the outset and the only others made have been the addition of Black Boost like alloy wheels, a Thatcham approved Armour Security alarm/immobiliser vehicle security system and a Rat Trap on the Transfer box so the vehicle cannot be moved unless dragged or hoisted.
The point being that I have taken additional care to look after my vehicle since it was firt insured thriugh your company.
I have been advised that most brokers will not bother to look beyond ERS on any renewal and other Land Rover owners are experiencing this attitude with their brokers as well.
I have another Land Rover 110.
A station wagon of the same age with a long list of mods thats insurance was renewed, in November 2016, with ERS.
I'm assuming that policy will not be renewed in 2017 either.
I also have a MK1 Discovery that I have insured through your brokerage in November 2016, thankfully not with ERS.
In all I spend over £750 for three vehicles to be insured on Classic policies.
Do I need to take my business for all three vehicles elsewhere?
Right now, other people are asking me, why am I still with Adrian Flux??
You tell me....

So have you messaged Jamie from AF as requested or are you just here to rant?

Try Carol Nash cherished vehicle dept, they deal with a company that deals with ex military vehicles, insured my Tithonus 110 for £199 fully comp.
