Bought a k series 1.8 petrol 5 door Serengeti nice black leather seats, new tyres, exhaust, cat, brakes. had the engine re-done from Ground up, Window Regulators done, Failed M.O.T on Wiper Motor and Co2 Emissions after all that. motor will be sorted in the Mornin. No Faults, all good mechanic has thrown his hand in and suggests an ECU re-map to fix the High Co2 any ideas?

Wiper Motor obtained from scrap yard £20 bargain! instant fix! now for the difficult bit.
 
It would be good to know the HC reading as well.......but at a guess Lamda sensor?

Hc:128ppm pass
Lambda: 1.04 pass

Fast idle 2
Co:0.98% Fail
Hc:133ppm pass
Lambda: 1.03 pass

Natrual idle
Co:50% Pass
 
When the engine was 're-done from ground up' what engine management ancillaries where changed and which ones are old?
