Hi everybody - I've joined LandyZone because I've just acquired a 1997 Discovery SE7 4.0 litre.

I've owned (and exchanged body fluids with) more than 20 Land Rover products in England over the past 30 years, but I now live in Canada and I feel like a total newbie when I look around my latest acquisition - it's rather different from anything I've worked on previously.

I'm looking for a meaningful dialogue with someone who really knows these North American mutants inside out and I hope to be able to contribute some of my extensive knowledge of the more primitive variants (mainly Classic Range Rovers, but also TDi Discovery 1 and Series LandRovers)

I'm looking forward to participating in and learning from this forum.

Can you post some pictures of people killing seal-pups? Thanks
Sorry, that all goes on much further North - when the season opens, I could probably get some pics of guys with three teeth or less machine-gunning geese .....

I was in BC and Alberta , we did 2000 miles in my hired Hemi it was great! shame about my ticket lol.

Anyway, welcome!
