Been a Land Rover fan for quite a while and thought I ought to join this forum as I drop in read posts when landy based problems arise. My everyday ride is a 300tdi Discovery that has about 87,000 on the clock and as yet has never let me down. On the other hand I have a P38 4.6HSE with a RPI engine and LPG which is great when the computer is playing ball :) I also have an wreck of a 90 and A 110 project that is in its infancy. As you can see I'm over Rover'd and loving it :)

Im new too mate, how do you find the disco?

Very practical go anywhere vehicle. mine has no mods other than a tank guard towbar from Guardian. I tend to drive it fairly steadily on the road and have removed the viscous fan and the egr valve and I recon I'm getting near enough 30 mpg. I do a lot of off road driving when I'm flying my hawk, around farm tracks and field edges and even with it being so wet and slippy I have had no issues. ( 245-65-16 Duelers at the moment, which don't have a very aggressive tread)

All in all a great way to get the landy experience in a very usable way :)
