Hello, I'm from Kuala Lumpur & own a Black TD4 since April 2007..

Having a lot of teething issues with it..
noisy screeching brakes, rear left door could not be opened from inside (child lock not engaged), squeky front door panels etc..

ahh.. just noticed the Rear Diff dripping oil... @#$%

so,stumbled on this site while googling "Freelander Problems"...

Oh yes, studied Chemical Engineering at UMIST in the early 90s..

Well, it's the same in any LR forum I guess.. even in Malaysian LR Forum I got some ribbings... they are all into Series, Defenders... a few Disco & RR...

I'd get one if they had the one with Puma engine available when I got the FL.
Would only be available next year at a price higher than Freelander.
