Hi. I'm a new member. I live in Evehsam, Worcestershire, and have just bought a Range Rover P38. I've previously had series Land Rovers, including a couple of 2A's, a lightweight and series 3. I'd be intersetsd in some light green laning if anyone in the area is intersted.

Cheers, Richard

Welcome.

I am over in Malvern. We have been discussing a possible trip out. I don't often go as I use mine for work of sorts.

I have a lane in mind that's not too extreme. It has a ford it's just there a very tight access at the start. I'll think on it.

P.s of course not suggesting the ford right now! Will be deadly there

Hi chunkymunky, you're not too far away then. Let me know if you're going to the lane thats not too extreme, it would be good to meet up. I have road tyres, no winch etc, so if its suitable for me it would be great.

Ats? Same as I have then. I just have straps etc and a spade ;)

If the others are coming over we could tag along.

Welcome from another Evesham lad. Im over near Offenham.

I drive a series 2, and also have a 1993 disco that may/may not be rebuild. What year is your rangey?

Tom

Hi Tom, mines 1996. I bought it recently because my family said my series 3 was too cold and uncomfortable, so I thought heated seats and a CD player were the way forward. I didn't research it properly, and now realise that the P38 is harder work, and takes more of my time !! Lol

Hi to all, and thanks for all the welcomes. Wishing you all a merry Christmas and happy new year. Looks like some local green landing or pub meet then.

People chop and change landies all the time. Plenty of discos seem to come up in Hereford n Worcester sub £1000.
They are a bit less work. My list is getting extensive. I just need a dry space to work!

I organised a pub meet in Offenham at the Fish and Anchor Pub. It ran from March to October last year. We had an average 25 vehicles on each occasion.

There are plans afoot to rekindle this meet in March when it gets a little lighter, would be great if some more of you could come along!

Tom
