Lets go.
Ex forces landrover trained. will only buy landrover. Full stop.
How strange am I knowing them as I do.
Ive been offered a disco 4td v6 GS cheap.5000.
Full service history, Says handbrake does not work, he uses park instead /, key battery low and performance light.
190000 miles 2011.
Should I be concerned.

Disco 4 v6 diesel? High miles? Has the crank snapped yet?

Sorry haven't got back to you all. Update on my last thread. information is everything.

(1) Bought the disco 4 2010 6 speed v6 auto. £5000.
(2) 190000 miles.
(3) Motorway drive, limp mode, exhaust blowing out
(4) changed air intake manifold, plastic. All good.
(5) I've now got gear slippage, not all the time but when towing caravan, have to stop re set gear box.

Couple questions, if i just change gearbox oil and pan filter would this solve the issue or do I also do that and change the solenoid pack ?

What do you think landrover wizards.

No crank ok. gear slippage though !!!!!

Transmission mega flush wouldn't hurt. Google updates by bodsy. Stands a chance torque converter is very tired though.

What you doing when you reset gearbox? Cycle key off and on?
