Hey there Y'all in Range rover heaven. Just wanted to dip my toe into the Landyzone world.
I satisfied my itch today and got my first p38.......... wanted one for a long time and finally took the plunge.Just bought a 2002 Vogue SE 4.6, fully kitted with leather and sat nav and all the bits.Unusually absolutely everything works on it with no messages or warning lights or book symbols or wet carpets etc etc etc although I'm sure as soon as I start looking I will find stuff!
She only has one previous owner, Full R/R service history and only 89,000 on the clock.............not bad me thinks? All for the princely sum of.................. wait for it................£1940.00
There is a slight misfire but i will begin with new leads and plugs (i would put these on anyway for my own peace of mind) and go from there. I expect I will be asking for advice from all of you soon enough though!
Been reading up on here the past few months and it seems there is more knowledge on here than there is at Land Rover!
She is a little unloved with a few scratches and a bit cracked on the rear bumper bt nothing I cant sort myself with a bit of elbow grease and a spray gun. Going to tryy and upload a pic if i can and your opinions will be appreciated (although the negative ones will be ignored!)
I will let you know what happens with her and look forward to talking to you all soon

Cheers for now
Rob.
P.S. the original range rover bull bar and landrover lights are the first thing to come off!!!!!!!!!!!

Nice motor mate

Font forget to loose the light guards too :)

Cheers Mate, Actually I like the light guards.......... whatever floats your boat I suppose! Gonna play with them and try a few paint finishes and stuff and see what happens. I'm sure i will eventually find the way I want them!

Nice car and a very nice price.
Welcome to the LoonyZone.

Cheers dogsbody, I did feel like I was stealing it and felt bad........... but then the scottish in me took over and i thought..........................................sod it! I actually knocked him down from 2grand was being cheeky and he went for it!

:welcome2:

I'd leave the bullbar and guards on but that is just my preference!

Stick around, we aint a bad bunch and the knowledge here is second to none!

We are a bunch of pee taking bastids so you may suffer a goodly amount of jest, but that is just the LZ way....but when you cut through that, the info available staggers!

Looks great for the money. Welcome.
Its tradition here of course to give things away to members (brings good luck and stops yer head gaskets blowing); can I have the roof rack??;)

Welcome and what a nice colour motor you "stole" - now wait for:boom:

Thanks druim............... dont I just know its gonna happen.............. at an estimate the retirement fund will be depleted by November!:)

Depends how mechanically minded you are :)
A lot of P38 faults are easy to fix, just a right pain to diagnose without the knowledge! You're in the right place to find info; mine's still going strong largely because of this forum :)
