Hi, i'm new here and having sold my D2 a while ago for a Merc 560SEC, here, it was like losing a right arm, so I got a got a D1 v8, lift kit, guards all round ready fitted

. Must say, I'm looking forward to not having to deal with all the technology on. D2 though.

Santa's come early and I received today my Flexi arches, Yardley chequerplate kit including bonnet. Looking forward to fitting them this weekend and sucking on the free mint imperial Yardley packed in the packet of screws! Yes really, just like those you get in a little packet after a meal. Looks to be top quality.

Anyone from Beds, Herts, Cambs on this forum?

its great getting new bits.then fitting.and then takin out for a trial.

Lovely Merc fella, guy I worked with had one wicked quick and would light the rears up dead easy he only let me have a go a few times and never again after I did a rolling burn out in the yard lmao.

P.S Im in Herts. Watford/Hemel/Hatfield.

the problem with goodies is the cost,
because when you start you just cant stop getting stuff eg
disco 2 TD5 gs

cruise control kit
silly sticker for the back (you can go fast... i can go anywhere!) LOL

spare wheel cover
auto dimming int mirror

sun visors with illuminated mirrors, (for the boss)

then of course the faulty parts that need replacing
heated door mirror glass x2 (both dead,not heating) plus new clips (broke one)
cubby box cover (old one very worn)
drive belt (squeeking its head off)

both these lists will get longer many thanks ebay LOL

but it's my first disco and i'm going to play
