Hello I'm asking for advise again (hand brake sorted now thanks to Jamesmartin)

My fuel lines (metal parts are very, very crusty) What would be the best way of replacing them? New ones are obsolete so it looks like its make / adapt your own, Would rubber fuel pipe all through from tank to engine be the best route or a combination of metal & rubber? Also what to use for the connections to the fuel filter & tank??

I'm thinking rubber fuel hose as it won't rust like the metal ones, but I'm wondering how to connect them to the fuel filter & what connections I'd need. I'm pretty good at plumbing, just want to know what the safest option would be?

TIA

Ah right, ok so any rated fuel line will do, what diameter would I be looking at? would normal hose clips do to connect them up???

Don’t know the size never needed to find out with my disco but I suspect 8mm or 10mm i/d , and yes normal fuel hose clips although there are various types, take your pick.
