Evening all,

replaced the 2 front break pads on my Freelander today. But one of the them has started to smoke!! Especially when at a stood still. I have checked and they are on correctly.

Any Ideas

No, but i noticed today once stationary that the smoke has gone but there still a slight burning smell

one of yer caliper pistons has probly siezed, so one pad is permanently rubbing against the disc.
You need to dismantle the caliper and fit new pistons and seals or fit a whole new caliper.
