Right!
I changed the pads and disks but one if the piston in the calliper was jammed. Managed to get it back in eventually but having driven the car the pads on one side are binding to the wheel still because the piston is sticking again!
How easy ist it to change the calliper or piston or both. This is a 1.8 petrol mk1 1999 by the way.

Thanks, Roo

quite easy .clamp flexi hose first, and it will require very little bleeding, you can fit a piston and seal kit also

Does the new calliper come with a new piston?
Should I replace the calliper or the piston or both?

Thanks for your time, I am a proper amateur!

Just got the squeaks from me old mintex. What a bag of crap. first i had rumbling, garage dismantled brakes to find the shims were all crumpled, removed them, cleaned them then they started squeaking like an ol' Morris in its prime. What brands do you prefer? garage said Pagid as Mintex & Delphi are crappy.
