Hi to you all Dave here just wanted to introduce my self as im completely new to this sort of thing and since i am in the process of buying my first freelander thought i should get my self acquainted as im aware of the problems that are going to arise. just bought an 03 plate freelander td4 after lots of research (on here thanks to everyone with all your great threads)
its not the first landy ive owned but the disco that i previously had rotted from underneath me. I dont really have any mechanical knowledge but am very handy with fixing other things. Not totally sure if i should buy a haynes manual to put on the garage work top (next to the kettle obviously). hopefully hear from someone soon even if its to say hi i can swap knowledge on training gun dogs and normal dogs and if any one ever wants a lab puppy im the man to come and see.
again many thanks to you all for all the interesting posts that im sure ill need at some point.
cheers Dave
