I've been looking into this myself. 200tdi LHD kit is rare. RHD is " Easy", as it can be robbed from a 200tdi Disco RHD without much effort.
300tdi and MWM International 2.8 HS both require some finessing, moving welds on the chassis, maybe cutting bulkhead too.
for V8, I think a few Rover V8 may fit easily, worth doing if you've fixed the slipped liners beforehand. A bit more effort, but the adapter kit for the GM LS V8 engines from the later model pickups are available here in the US and Canada, and make for a modern powerful setup.
Those are about the only steps i'd follow, and surely start with a 200tdi from a Disco on an RHD if I had the chance.
