I replaced my doors with reasonable 2nd hand replacements.

With it I fitted new handles and locks.

Ever since I've been having a nightmare with the door locks, they stick, sometimes they unlock, others they don't, any pointers as to what I could have done wrong?

All the rods etc are exactly as the old doors!

I've got this with my drivers door. I've figured out that if I lock it with the key it's fine but if I push the button down manually it's 50/50 to whether it'll unlock with the key.

i've recently changed the drivers door handle and used original lock barrel in it. Bleedin nightmare to lock now.
Looked at the old handle and you could see the scratched in marks of where the original key pins had bedded in.

Will watch this thread carefully for ideas the same as you.

My drivers door was working fine, now the stupid thing is a pig to unlock!

I'm going to try oiling the mech see if that helps in any way!

What Paddy said; just spent a few days trying to figure out what was wrong with me dooras locks after being locked out of the drivers door.

Don't lock by pushing the external button and pushing down the internal latch. This causes problems when trying to unlock with the key.

No idea why, but I have this on both the orginal and a new lacth unit.
