About 4-6 weeks I'm afraid, as he's swamped with orders. However, he knocks 50% off every 50th rack ordered so I timed it right and got the 110 size with a mesh base for just £280 :)

Bit **** about the lead time but what a result on the price!

Rocco, I know, considering I love to go fast I'm not entirely sure how I always end up with the slowest vehicles I can find! :der:

Cheers for the info on the ST Maxx tyres Jay, will have a look at those

Booked in with Mike at Dynachip today, ordered my EGR blanking kit from TMD so will have that fitted along with a K&N before the remap, so looking forward to a few more ponies!

If it wasn't for the lead time I would order up a roof rack from MCB4x4, but I think I'm going to go with one from Masai as I believe they can deliver quickly :)

Cheers for all the help chaps

I've got a set of Insa Turbo Special tracks (aggressive mud tyres) and didn't have any trouble in the snow until there was enough wedged under my axles to lift the wheels off the ground.... :D

As for roof rack, if you've got a fabrication shop near buy it might be worth popping down and seeing what they can do for you - I made myself a roof rack for my truck cab (yes, truck cab haha) and used some thin walled steel box that I had lying around, and some pallet wood for base and sides - looks pretty rustic, but I'm sure you could get them to make something sleek and simple quiet cheaply! Only took me an hour, and about £20 worth of metal! Hope this helps! :D

Sweet, sounds good! What sort of power is stage 3?!

I won't be going that far, need the car to be quiet (!?) and comfortable for the passengers, but a decat may be on the cards if it's not too expensive!

Would love to pop over and have a look, will give you a shout next time I'm over that way :D

Not too sure on power but would guess 170 - 180bhp? I specified the tune for towing and whatever the bhp is it's made towing a lot better.

With a full load of timber on a particular hill I was in second and sometimes first. After the tune its still pulling in forth!!!

I've got a straight through pipe on mine and it sounds nice outside but inside there's not much difference so don't worry about noise levels

Give us a shout if you want to pop by :)

Nice! Can't wait to play in that much snow, although I'll probably be on my snowboard rather than in the landy! :D

That's an idea, I've got a little group of industrial units a few minutes walk from me so I will pop in there before lobbing 500 quid on top of Larry! :der:

Sounds awesome! I'm literally bursting with excitement to get it done, hoping for 150-160bhp. I think I'm going to have to hold off on the decat thing though as I've read about new MOT rules that states that a cat must be fitted for the MOT if the car came with one from the factory, even though with diesels they are obviously not checking for emissions, only diesel smoke. What sort of BHP can you expect from the decat, do you know?

If you're finding a 110 XS slow and you drive a VW camper, summit aint right lol

Haha, I built the engine in the camper, 1.8 with raised compression, slightly higher lift and longer duration cam, larger stainless intake valve with 5-angle valve job, ported, polished and flow matched with twin carbs.

She's probably got about as much power as the Landy now actually, come to think of it!

Fair enough sure that closes the gap but I still believe my statement stands lol. Then again, I'm used to me tuned 90 which is pretty quick off the mark. Just wish it cruised as effortlessly :(

Don't worry about the MOT. There are threads elsewhere describing how several of us with late model vehicles with no cats have gone straight through the MOT with nobody picking us up on it. Mine's a 2006 TD5 so had a cat to begin with.
