we certainly dont encourage that sort of thing round these parts, maybe it's overlooked down Mr Carpets way if they can't get channel five.

ah a convert ! - and if you seached for engine oil it would ignore "oil" because it's a 3 letter word

right guys - try this

when you search - click on 'advanced search' , select 'search titles only' & use " " in the search box

try "steering box" or "engine oil" - think you'll find it gives a lot better results

i aint converted! - it is a glitch which, I believe, should be fixed - but that aint the subject of this thread - new thread, Sean?

Wot aboot them that ain't read the LZ Dicshunree. For example the longest fred on Bio/WVO/SVO is Mings "Vedgey Gaylander" - a noob ain't gonna search on that whilst there's still a hole in me arse!

???? why *.* and "steering box"?

I assume you mean put steering box inside of quotes?

yes - just try it  - it only returns results where the phrase 'steering box' occurs in the title of the thread - not any thread that happens to have the word 'steering' or 'box' somewhere in it

the solution to this search "issue" is in post 37 of this thread which slightly alters the config to "see" 3 letter words - and thats directly from the vbulletn manual
