I had problems with my '02' Freelander TD4 clutch/gear selection
So, ended up with a whole new clutch including flywheel, master and slave cylinders........costly.
It still bites almost on letting the pedal up, even though it has been bled several times over several days. There's also about an inch of play on depressing the pedal. Should I be concerned?

If you read my threads on TD4 clutch you'll see the problem ! In the end I modified the master cylinder having done some tests and saved the money on clutch replacement. Low bite is rarely clutch plate related.........
