Hi All,

I noticed a bit of clutch slip yesterday while towing my caravan. My freelander is an 06 TD4, with 53,000 miles on the clock. I have heard somewhere that Land Rover do a heavy duty clutch for the freelander can somebody tell me if this is correct. Also is it recommended to change the flywheel and master and slave cylinders at the same time.

10/15 years ago I would have done this myself but age and arthritis are going against me now so just wondering what I can expect to pay to have a new clutch fitted.

Any help and advice is much appreciated.

Many thanks

Graham

Have a look in this months Land Rover Monthly magazine. They did a feature on a TD4 clutch swap.
