It's extremely difficult to say because you don't know what you're going to be in for until you take it apart. As you take it apart you discover more bits that seriously need doing. Then, there are other bits that aren't great but you could get away with leaving. However, you find yourself saying I've come this far so I might as well do that properly too'. It can snowball very easily
What condition is the bulkhead in? This is a major game changer in the amount of time and money needed for the job.

Ball park numbers, just as a ‘order of magnitude’ guide;-

£2600 for a Galv Chassis (Marsland)
£2000 for the labour to swap

Options while it’s in bits;
Clutch
Springs and Dampers
Bushes
timing belt
shock turrets
fuel tank
Brake Lines& Hoses

Labour is another c£600 on top for that list
Parts can vary wildly depending on spec - but take a view on another £650/£800 for the options list if your thrifty.

So round numbers is £6k

Lots of companies do the work, some of the chaps on here have 1st hand experience of DIY and paying someone to do it - unaffiliated recommendations won’t be far away if you go down that route.

Marsland 110 Td5 chassis is £ 3,540 Inc vat,
Fitting cost is £2500 Inc vat
I know this because I had it done three weeks ago.

My marsland 90 chassis was £3100, then once in bits I've spent a fortune to date and not finished. New galv bulkhead, suspension, fuel tank, engine/gearbox mounts, clutch, timing belt, rec gearbox and transfer box, loads of repair panels from YRM for tub....... the list goes on!

Ah super useful. Presu, ably Marsland did the actual swap for you? How long did it take and did you have to wait before getting it booked in/?

The swap was done by Engine 710 in South Queensferry, I dropped the 110 off on the Monday and picked it up on the Friday.
I had to wait a month from the first telephone call to the work being done.
I didn't need anything else done, the springs, dampers, bushes, clutch etc were all fine.
I did supply new galvanised body mounts from YRM and new rear damper mounts.
I'm very happy with the work done ,I would have done it myself but I only have a single width shared gravel drive.

I would be careful about ''you are in there, you might as well do it'' , why change a clutch with 150k left in it? or a fuel tank with 4 or 5 years left in it, change whats broken and cannot be fixed, fix what is broken that can be fixed, leave the rest alone. The rest is going to happen one day new chassis or not, just not today.
