Hi all
Fitted a marshland galvanized chassis to my 1994 90 last week all went according to plan apart from the front axle which seems to be fitting at a steeper angle than it was.All the springs and shock absorbers are the same yet it seems that the front end is sitting 2" higher than it was before. It was also a tight fit to get the prop on to the gearbox which is nearly running at its uj angle limit .Is it possible that the engine and gearbox are further forward than they should be
thank you

have yu bought a chassis with a 2"lift incorporated into it. it's possible to order a chassis with a lift built in. lowered tunnel mounts etc.

If ya have a heavy winch on the front you might need the 2" lift....be level then

Did you fit new springs on the front? When my chassis change was completed my whole 90 sat higher - it was simply because it was all new suspension parts and i was used to the old springs.

If you did are they HD or standard, do they differ in type to the rears.

No, all the springs are heavy duty and were not changed. The only thing i did do was tighten up the radius arms without the engine and gearbox fitted, maybe i should undo them and re-tighten them although they seem to be in the same position .

hi when you rechassis you should leave all susspension bolts loose untill the chassis bears the total weight of the car this is so the bushes dont lock out and twist resulting in premature bush failiure
