I’m rebuilding my 90 on a new richards galvanised chassis. I’ve just noticed there’s no holes for the brake pipe clips like on my old one. Is this normal? Also, I’m not keen on drilling the new chassis, does anyone know an alternative ?
Thanks

Drilling the chassis will be fine, just grease the screws/bolts/rivets that hold the clips in place.

I fitted a Richards chassis back in 2020 and there were no brake-pipe holes (or for the fuel-lines as I recall).
Easy enough to sort. Just drill the holes where you want them to be (which may not be where they were on the original chassis), clean & paint then rust-proof.
I used the OE type push-fit plastic clips.

Thanks everyone. I wanted to double check there wasn’t any alternative before started drilling holes.
