This is what I did today

Tools needed

12mm, 19mm, 20mm, ratchet 3/8"
19mm, breaker bar, torque wrench 1/2"
Small crow bar, big eff off hammer.
screwdrivers, possibly drill.

Parts

Discs, pads, screws to hold discs
Copper grease

I removed the road wheel and unbolted the caliper (12mm), then I drilled and drifted the screw loose. I then got my camera.

I used the 20mm socket with a ratchet handle and gently tried to undo the 19mm 12 pointed caliper bolts, this removed the scale.

The 19mm socket will need to be fitted with a hammer.

I used my new 2 foot long breaker and a 19mm socket and unbolted the caliper bracket, the chisel is to hold the cable out of the way.

Now removed I hit the disc to loosen it, then hit one side and levered the other to remove it.

Then I pulled the disc off

Now I copper greased the hub so the new disc would not stick

Will do another post for the rest so do not reply yet please

Grease the edge of the calipers, do not get the grease on the friction surface.

Pads placed

I then fitted the wheel, I didn't take any pictures of that due to rain.

Good write up.

Just one thing from your photos - did you have the car on a trolley jack only or was it propped with something else as well?

Was not only thing, but I never got underneath it anyway, got ramps for that

Great post I am going to tackle the brakes soon so this is a great help Thanks
On the sliders is it not better to use a high temp grease as copper slip is a bit thick?
