I got a Yuasa 640SHD with 115AH and 1000CCA a few years ago. The D2 needs something with decent reserves.

It has to be at least 110AH/850 like the factory fitted was but the stronger the better...i recommend this one https://www.tayna.co.uk/car-batteries/bulletbatt/c31-1000/

Good shout!!! I followed your recommendation, with my D2 having sat for about 5-6 months. Fitted the new battery (drained and topped up oil and other fluids as well) and seems to do the job well. so a +1 on recommendation for this battery.

Awesome. If you order from the link Sierrafery posted, it may arrive early. I was given a one hour window for next day delivery, it arrived twenty minutes early. Really good battery with 120ah, and great delivery too. Not a bad price either.

Really good company. I work about half a mile from them. I took a car there a few months ago for them to test the battery. They told me the battery and the alternator were fine and were happy to test for free. I asked how many batteries they sold and was told around 4,000 per week. Some weight of batteries there and all to be kept charged up.
Yep, my TD5 was reluctant to start today and has occasionally been a bit like this, might be buying one of these soon!

Have to admit, the speed with which my battery was shipped and arrived, if their customer service is half as good, they'd have my business on my vehicles.
