guys my dad is thinking of buying alandrover 1964 lwb, he's asked me whatbit is and what it's worth , i've only got knowedge of modern ones help, what series is it? dramas to look for? prices ish. cheers

1961-1971 was the 2a.
prices range from nowt to 3 grand. depending on condition etc..
with a new mot and tax, average condition, i suppose approx 750/1000 quid.
i have seen em advertised for 1500 quid!
dramas? well the usual. plus bulkhead/chassis/rear x member rot, and the 4 wheel drive system esp to check out.
(with no mot, then say 200 quid max).
