haha, it's so much harder to find some decent tyres for 17" all the ones i seem to find are like £100+ and i need 5 so they're all matching. Having a nightmare.

Mine are 18" off a jeep. Even less choice but cos I've got 2" lift etc I got them in with some trimming of arches etc. I did have 16" black steel modulars. With 16s there loads of choice Bfg AT's are very good think 215/70/16

yeah but to be fair your car does look sweet ha think i'll just downsize to 16"

Im in the same boat, though im halfway through swapping onto winter tyres currently.
Im tempted to keep the 17s for road use then if I want to get dirty, swap over to a set of 16s
As an aside - brilliant forum, with a wealth of info available on search (Ive lost many an hour going through, what tyres, IRD and VCU issues LOL)

I have 2 sets of wheels.

225/65 R17 General Grabber AT on my Evolution rims
and
215/70 R16 Vredestein Wintrac 4 Xtreme on my 16" alloy rims.

I have a 40mm lift and 30mm spacers.

The Grabber AT cost about £111 each fitted.
The Wintrac's were £96 each fitted.
