Cheapest way - fit sidefacing bench seats with lap belts, but these cannot be used by children under 12 years old, so put adults on bench seats and children in second row of forward facing seats.

Next - side facing individual seats - still no good for children under 12
but more comfortable than bench seats for adults. (£85-£120)

Next alternative - Exmoor trim fold up forward facing seats £138.25 each, with 4 point harnesses (£44.64 each)

Fourth alternative - Exmoor trim Lock & Fold forward facing seats (includes seat belts) £486 each. Booster seats for children extra.

You will occasionally see fold up seats on ebay, but they don't go very cheaply e.g. a recent second hand pair of side facing went for nearly £100 each.

I would never advise buying seat belts second hand unless they are from some one you know and can guarantee absoultely that they have never been in a collison since new.

I've got the middle seat from the front facing foreward in mine with a proper seat belt using land rover brackets the same as what's in the front. You could fit 2 of those in side by side easily but you'd need to make something for them to sit on like I have. If I remember rightly, middle seats are hard to come by now but I am just making the point that you can make anything fit.

look in auction sites for minbus seats with integral seatbelts, eg ex LDV you can also get them with unwin tracking feet , if used with the tracking they can be quick release. Unwin can be bought from direct if you wish . HTSH
