What's up guys? Wish you all the best for this year and may your freelander never let you down cause mine sure hasn't!

Okay so as i mentioned in a previous thread this is my first car and i love the thing, hitting 43k by the end of january. I have a 2006 TD4 and need more power from it, i have in mind to change it completely rather than sell it and buy a new one since it's in perfect condition (bought it from a friend of the family, bloke barely used it but also took excellent care of it)

Going to remap it to get around 140 ~ HP and 320 NM, that would be the first thing i want but what else can i do to get the most benefit out of this beamer engine? Cold air intake? Better intercooler?

Any advice would be awesome, thank you guys.

It's never going to be a sports car.

But you can add a Ronbox as well as the remap according to their website. Approx 165 bhp then.

A larger intercooler will help add a few more horses

Those will give you the most gains this side of selling it and buying a Porsche :D

There are the usual bits: EGR delete, change the PCV and air filter.

Lower springs, Monroe gas struts, bigger brakes

One of the local garages to me sells 06 low mileage TD4's for over £10k, and people appear to pay that as they don't hang around for long :wonder:
