Discovery 2 td5 2003 plate

first thing is I had my land rover lifted on lift blocks but it was not suitable so had the lift blocks removed since that the jeep starts for 2/3 seconds and cuts out

we have plugged nano com but coming up no faults had ecu sent of no issues with it we’ve done everything with changing fuel filter and checking fuel lines
Changed ignition coil and sensor

Can anyone help please as it’s been non start for 3 weeks

If you have nanocom go into TD5 engine- Utility - "learn security code" cos it seems thaat the ECU lost it

No issues with ecu it got sent of to a specialist which has come back with no issues and nanocom is picking up no fault codes

If the ECU lost the security code or there is a misscomunication on that path between the ECU and BCU there will be no fault code

Checked bcu. If you can think of any way of telling me how to check between the ecu and bcu that would be great thanku

See Electrical library - Connector views and check continuity between ECM alarm input pin C0658 pin 34 and BCU security code output C0661 - 10 if it's continuity go with nanocm into BCU settings and set alarm to "not fitted" and immobiliser - disabled and try then, if still no joy then it's BCU or ECM fault, if you are 100% certain that the ECU is OK replace the BCU but for thos kind of fault if the link is OK i'd rather suspect the ECM, here's from the WSM:

ENGINE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM - Td5
18-1-38 DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION

If a vehicle stalls immediately after starting it is possible that it has been immobilised. This means either:

l The ECM was configured as ’No Code’ but the ECM is receiving a code at its alarm input pin.

l The ECM received an incorrect code.

l The ECM was expecting a security code but did not receive one at its alarm input pin.
