I’ve found the issue, I lost the breaking pad View attachment 273499
If your good with spanners just go here & see if they have pads in stock & you could fit these.
If you go to a garage they may say you need a disk, can’t see much damage

Stand to be corrected, but looking at your photo shouldn't there also be retaining two pins per caliper to go through the holes in the caliper & the corresponding holes in the brake pads?
And a spring?

Be an idea to have a look at the other side to see if anything's missing there too.

Early pins used split pins, later had R clips.
R clips rattle loose;)

Yeah, pins, split pins and spring are missing too. I’m really confused about this how two split pins get lost…hopefully these parts are also available tomorrow…

Good morning, currently I’m at the workshop, there is possibility that they don’t have braking pads and the additional parts from kit STC8575 - is there any chance to get them somewhere today? Or maybe a member of this board could sell me the parts?

I'm to far away (Lanark) but there are places where you can get the needed parts, D&M in Tain (north of Inverness) and Strathearn Engineering (nerar Perth) spring to mind.
Strathearn are real cowboys and will charge you an arm and a leg, D&M are a better bet, You can get a bus to Fort William and a train to Inverness and a bus to Tain in approx 4 hours.
Call them on 07867596017 - i'm sure they'd be more than happy to help.

They don't, if fitted correctly they will be there until the pins rust through... I'd have a word with the person who did the brakes last if I were you.

You could just spend the weekend in Fort William, I'm sure the garage will have the part's on Monday
Yes we will try this….parts are available on Monday. It’s only complicated to get a room with 2 dogs…
The breaks are don’t touched for the last 2 years….and the technical inspection was on January this year…

Why on earth would you skip Inverness?
Highland Motor parts was open until 12.30pm, Eurocarparts are open, shut at 4pm.

Dont go to halfords, they don't have a good rep national tyres is better.
I would go to the 1 that’s likely to have some parts…if they don’t have your pads you can look at the pictures & get for another model.

Or I would have just stopped at the green boot for a few days ;) until the parts arrive in the post.
