Having problem with the lt77 gearbox in my 90 defender and have been trying to find someone in Perthshire Scotland who would be willing to strip it down and fix it , so anyone know any firms or garages which would do the work. Gearbox makes a kind of quick squeal/grating noise while driving and then lurches and feels like it is going to come up through the floor. Also will sometimes loose drive for just a second.
Any one got a defender lt77 gear box for sale in scotland ?

always thought they were a bakery for some reason, they are main agents for the ZF auto gearbox but also do the manual R380, so presume they will do earlier ones as well.

I have no connection with them but from what I saw they seem professional.
