Bit late to the party but I only ever seem to come on here when I have trouble with my Freelander. Did you ever get a replacement door? I need a replacement drivers door which is proving difficult! I have found one supposedly from a 2006 facelift model but front he picture, it doesn't have any door moulds - so I'm now thinking it's not a facelift model....

Thanks for this - blimey mouldings as an option?! They really didn't give anything away back in the day! Okay - the search continues!

The body mouldings have always been optional on the FL1s, except for the highest spec at the time.
It's a way of distinguishing model specs. If they put every option on the lower models, they wouldn't sell many higher spec models.

If the door is a good price, in the correct colour, and in perfect condition? Then get it and obtain the door moulding separately. They only stick on with 3M double sided tape.

I'm now looking at two both in the correct cairns colour. One has been stripped of everything except door mouldings and the other is complete and supposedly in good condition - can't tell from the picture as the door is seriously dirty!!If the door is a good price, in the correct colour, and in perfect condition?
