Hi all.
I am down in Spain at the moment and have started to get ignition problems,,IE,, disco not starting when turned on ,,not stopping when turned off..have looked on forum and have come to the decision that the ignition lock is foobarred ...
My disco is a 1998 300 tdi manual, dont know if this makes a difference but thought i would throw it in.
Just need to know how easy / difficult it is to change.. do i need to change the whole steering lock or can i just change out the barrels???
Any help / advice would be greatly appreciated .
Thank you.

The Barrel can be removed by using a very small allen key or tiny screwdriver down the slot you can see along the barell, but keep the key in
