Any help gratefully received.......

My rear RH springs are fixed with bolts.

But all the rest are fixed with bent metal strips.

Is this normal?

So why do I have one different one?
I've been reading about RH and LH being different otherwise the landy will tilt to one side.
Mine tilts to the passenger side. maybe someone has muddled my springs??

someones probably replaced a spring at some point, if its ex military they'll have taken the first one out of stores as long as it was the right spec

OK. Makes sense. So..................... What would you suggest? Do I put my odd set back on or do I get another set to match my LH rear set?

If they need(ed) to be stripped down for cleaning then they would have had the bent steel clamps replaced with the bolted 'U' bracket.

The brackets were available from John Craddock many moons ago when I had my Series I, and the compaany might still stock them.

Try and keep as original as possible and don't fit paras  unless there is no other option!!

they match so leave it, or fit paras

On a Military chassis parabolics are tricky things to fit!

But i woudnt worry about the clamp and in terms of leaning that is likely due to wear as the MOD springs are pretty much unbreakeable but were generally replaced with standard HD/109 springs or even 1 ton springs.
If you want originality then you need to get the proper type for FFR/GS BUT there not cheap and unless you plan on carrying 3/4 ton in the back and towing a laden Sankey trailer offroad then i woud fit standard 109 springs and shocks.
