Have you got driving gloves on???? And now I also have the answer to that age old question......

Who ate all the pies.

Actually I thought someone might be glad of a few hundred quid if their circumstances were right.
Thanks for the warm welcome to the forum though...

a few hundred quid for all the grief that could come.

with all respect, and I'm sure you are a fine upstanding citizen, with advanced driver status, never rev beyond 3k etc etc.

however, we don't know you from adam, and you rock up on here with all of 3 posts and expect someone to lend you their landy.

this is a very welcoming forum, if a little boisterous. Without exception, the regulars could all be described as enthusiasts, and probably very well attached to their vehicles. Some have the luxury of having a landy for a play thing and fair play for being able to do that. Some don't and only have one as the main car, or like me, need it as a van for work all day every day.

so to lend their vehicle to an unknown because they don't fancy driving any car other than a landy until their disco 4 turns up seems unlikely.

Would you be as willing to lend your disco 4 when you get it ? Thought not.

Truly welcome to the forum, you might be a little lonely as there's not many disco 4 owners on here, but if you fancy hanging around and enjoying the banter, great. Never know, you could even bring your new toy laning and get it muddy !

hope you have many happy miles in your disco 4 when you get it. come back and post some piccies when you do.

The way to do it is sell them a vehicle v5 n all, then buy it back less depreciation/damage/wear and tear.

portion of chips and a cardboard sign to hitch a lift should cover it
