a half chassis would usually be a new item (unless you can find one that someone has bought and not used) such as https://www.paddockspares.com/discovery-2-rear-half-chassis.html

Personally if your motor needs a half chassis I'd be looking closely at the rest of the car to make absolutely sure it's worth the expense.
