Must be a very good paint company if they can't even find out how to mix and match to produce a colour copy...:confused:

the RAL code for the NATO green is RAL6003 but there is no RAL code or BS number for NATO sand or black, and as i only have green camo on my 90 and 110 I dont know the ones for NATO sand or the NATO black (which is not a standard black)

thought this was a helpful site??

if i had a car i could match too i wouldnt be asking!!

int nato paint more than just a paint colour? I thought it had anti IR properties in it anorl? I also thought it was designed to be applied pretty much to any surface without prior preperation being done to the surface?

It is a helpful site...but if Bill Gates came on and asked about how to 'cut and paste' i'd seriously begin to doubt his companys abilitys...

Surely google is your friend?

we are doing the paint (once i can get the proper BS / RAL codes)for use on landies & other "types" of items that people want to paint with these type of colours

google does not come up with a 100% match to the sand and give yellow as light straw (not right colour) or camo beige (too dark!!)

if you use the quote button we'll know who you're replying to.;)

If the reply to me then you misunderstand nato paint. The paint is designed to cammoflage both in it's colours and it's properties. Are you merely looking at copying and selling paint that is the colour of NATO paint or are you looking at copying and selling paint with the colour AND properties of nato paint?

For vehicles that use a woodland-like camouflage (NATO) pattern, the colors used are:
- Bronze green, RAL 6031
- Leather brown, RAL 8027
- Pitch black, RAL 9021
- Sand Yellow,RAL 1002

- Olive green, RAL 6003
- Grey-green, RAL 6021

Not being funny but many people paint there landys with nato paint cos it can be applied with a brush or roller and still has an ok finish. It can also be topped up again time after time with nor preperation required. If you are simply looking at copying the colour without the other properties will your paint not need to be correctly applied and therefore make it's purpose pointless?

Erm ok...so you didn't find my link to all the nato paint codes useful?

I apologise unreservedly. Just trying to help, it won't happen again..:p
