Hi folks,
Some may remember my diff post before Christmas others may not, but blew my front diff so ended up replacing the full axle.
A week or 2 later, the thing started banging when braking, just a quick loud bang. Does it forward or reverse, but doesn't seem as loud in reverse. Perhaps speed has something to do with it.
If I'm very careful and ease on the brakes it doesn't bang.
Changed the hub today because the wheel bearing that came with the axle turned out to be foo barred thought that may have played a part with the play in it but has made no difference but I had my doubts it would to be honest.
Any suggestions for what to check?
I'm hoping to get it on a ramp with all 4 wheels off the ground and test it that way but not sure when I can do that.
Thanks in advance
