After removing my NAS Rear Bumper for a clean up and repaint, I noticed that it had never had the three bottom bolts fitted (underneath to bottom of crossmember).

Does anybody know the size of the bolts required... I did try an M10 but it wasnt going and I didnt want to knacker the threads in the crossmember (could be because it has been galvanized)...? Anybody?

It could be 3/8 either UNF or UNC could also be why they wasn't fitted but would have thought they would be metric myself

I'd guess at m10 too, I've got a galv chassis sat in my back yard and can check but wont be until tomorrow.
With yours being galv too it may just want a tap running through it.

Brilliant...thanks for the responses. Now that you have given me the confidence re. the M10, I will run a tap through it...

I have found so many missing or loose bolts on my 90....even if it was advertised as a complete nut and bolt rebuild, shame they didn't use all the bolts or even the right ones......that goes for many different types of fasteners !!!!
