Hello. I'm. Looking for someone to turn my immobiliser off with nanocom. I'm. In Southampton. Can anyone assist me please?
Hi Waz, unfortunately I haven't got my hands on one yetDidn't @cornishboater get a nanocom? Only in Poole if so, not a million miles away. His is petrol but should be able to switch off immobiliser in BECM
I'll try this now. It also seems to be draining the battery fastMaybe pump is sticking where it’s been standing, get underneath and give a few knocks to where the pump is while someone puts the glows on (or bridge the relay) see what happens
Assuming this is a P38, the in tank pump does not produce a lot of pressure, just flow, the amount is in wammers guide. The pump is immersed so does not need priming but may need to push any air through the fuel line.I've got a nano com. Now. Ecu and becm and key fob fixed and synced. Out it all back in. No fuel pressure to filter so I tank pump wasn't priming. Next day. Primed and run. Next day dead. Any ideas? I'm. Going to hardwire the pump though a switch and the inertia to get it to my mechanics but can anyone shed some light? I have 12v running through the relay. But I'm not reading anything at inertia.? Glow plug light comes on. Please help.
If it's the line from in tank pump to filter, better to bleed at the filter, then fill and refit the filter. If it needs bleeding you crack it off at the injector pipes

I just wondered when he talked about pressure from the pump.Yes he has M51
I do indeed. When I get to drive the thing. Haha. Thank you. I am learning quickly. I'm aware that in ten seconds if I take the clear pipe from fuel filter off I should recieve 180ml of diesel. However I'm getting nothing. There was a small amount left in the hose before and a bubble yes. But I've gone through this before. It's the intank pump that isn't turning on. The relay clicks and I've done the bridge test. I've tried testing the inertia but that was the point when the battery went dead so wasn't expecting anything. Its on charge now. But for two days. I've drained two batteries. Scoured the Internet and can't get it to turn on. I don't want to rewire it as I've seen some suggest. I just want it as it should be. So next I'll test the continuity of all the wirigg and switches and relay etc again. Then try and bleed the system by remotely powering the pump to get it started. I think I have a leak in the like somewhere anyway because I thought the pipe should stay full? Clear one and not return. But I am new could be wrong on many things and sure I am. Like I say its weird that I got back back one day and the pump worked. After not for a day. Then drove it round for the evening no problems. Next day. The in tank pump won't work. Ill test the pump with a 12v feed best option. So is it the blue and white to put a feed to and ground the black wire from pump to test? Tha ks for your help guys I'd be lost without you lot. Really appreciate sorry. Sorry for the mass of information and bad grammarMost don’t know it’s not a pressured pump only lift in beginning. he is nice guy loves his 2.5.
You have helped him with door lock issues previously, he followed your advice, sorted it and got himself a new nanocom so he will learn quickly
