Hi all, Whilst driving (sensibly) around a roundabout I had the three amigos come up along with the red break warning light and three chimes.

plugging the Nanocom in and I come up with this;

I can clear the fault but it comes back instantly, if I exit the page and tap “faults” again it’s back, exactly the same...

can anyone point me in the right direction please?

Don't know Nanocom, but could it be ACE pump failure?

No ACE warning lights came on and it seemed to be functioning normally.
Three amigos all on and not going off when you drive off again are an indication of an ABS fault.

As to my knowledge there is/are no specific one(s), but the HDC, ABS and TC are reckoned to be the three amigos, while the brake warning light can come on too, which is what you said at the beginning of the thread.

If all the lights have gone off and it is now driving normally, take it to a place where you can safely test the ABS and the TC.
This will only be a very rough test as even with the ABS system not fully functioning, it may seem to be OK and even parts of it can work.
ABS "pump" is, I think, really the modulator but it won't hurt to read around the place to see what you can find.
Many threads on this on here.
Most of us have had the problem, or problems, i sure have!

Hi. That's about the ABS return pump circuit(the pump is inside the modulator) . first of all check fusibe link FL11, if it's ok go with nanocom in Outputs - ABS pump relay test and see if you hear it clicking, if not swap relays R10 with R8 and see then... if the relay clicks, there is a round connector near the modulator with brown/red and black wires in it, check if there's good contact there... i these are ruled out more investigation is needed, on a 1 to 10 scale where are you when it comes to electrics ?

Hi mate, thanks for clarifying that.
Every day is a school day!

@sierrafery yet again you are my hero!!

FL11 was good,

I could hear the relay clicking,

each step I’m thinking “oh no, it’s going to be a new modulator”...

right, where’s the round plug near the modulator... ah there it is... well it would help if it was plugged in!!!

That was a real laugh out loud moment!!

Plugged it back in and fault all cleared!!

Possibly the easiest and certainly the cheapest fix ever in my D2!!

If we ever meet, I’m going to owe you so many drinks!!! Thank you for your ever amazing support!!

And of course, thank you to everyone else that answered, as always, this forum beats Facebook hands down!!

If this was me I'd be celebrating with a large something or other!
Well done mate!
And again high 5 to @sierrafery :):):):):):):):)

if I remember correctly, I think that round plug is the earth for the ABS module circuit
No, the one with two wires near the modulator(C0507) is the pump's power feed, the round one connected to the front of unit with one black wire below the multiplug is the earth(C0500)
