Hi Guys I have up for sale a NANOCOM EVOLUTION in mint condition.

Only used a hand full of times.
This unit is unlocked to the EDC engine.
this unit was used on my 2.5 DSE
comes with box, instruction, and the two cables
I have updated this unit to the latest firmware
will post to you Free of charge

As you have put a complaint against me on PayPal it now has to go through the proper channels

I have told PayPal that you are welcome to a refund minus the postage

You will now have to wait until PayPal looks into it

Ok so this person wanted to by my nanocom unit
He wanted me to send it to an address
He paid me through PayPal but the address on the PayPal account was different. I bought a Hermes postage lable to the address shown on the PayPal account

He then writes to me having a go at me and wanting a refund

I told him that I sent it to the address shown on PayPal because if anything happens then I would be covered as much as him

I have been court out before
I sent an item to a different address and I lost the item and my money because he said he never got the item

as you can see guys he is now threating me on where his money is

It is in PayPals hands
Because he put a complaint into PayPal
I have said that I would give a refund minus the postage as I think that's fair
As I can't get this back from Hermes

I don't see why I should lose out on this

At the end of the day I am bound to PayPal turms and conditions
If he wanted it to go to another address then he should have put a note with the address on the PayPal system

Also he was useing his girlfriends account Which technology you are not aloud to do

Also say for instance I sent it to the address he wanted and it went missing PayPal would refund him right away because there would be no fall back as I didn't sent it to the address registered to that account

I'm sorry but I will put this guy out for public hanging and I have done nothing wrong

I gave him a good deal the price he wanted
I gave him free postage

He told me I was ripping him off
How on gods earth was I ripping him off

He was rude in every way
And most of all he has given this forum a bad name

What difference does the address make anyway unless he was hideing something if he had a problem with his girlfriend address, again he should of put a note on paypal.

All the people I have spoken to on here are really nice guys who will bend over backwards to help each other.
And then you get some **** like this

I have always treated people with respect and I deserve the same

This guys name is stpaulinus

and another thing I even told him that is had not been posted and the address can easily be changed and he still went off on one

Why can't someone just go the girlsfriends house and pick up the Nanocom if that's where it's been posted to? o_O

So the issue is that although the seller states that he has posted it (albeit to the Paypal address), that it has never actually arrived at that address?

So, he needs to provide proof of postage and / or delivery then, otherwise he needs to reconsider his position in this transaction.

I understand your frustration. It's really down to the seller to now prove that he has indeed posted it.
If he can, then it's also down to the seller to contact the delivery company and obtain proof of delivery from them.
If he can't or is unwilling to provide either of these, then your only course of action is to go through the Paypal dispute process for non-delivery of the purchased item.

Paypal rules only allow for the item to be sent to the authorised address registered in Paypal to be covered by their terms and conditions.

From User Agreement

"A key eligibility requirement of the Seller Protection Programme is that, for tangible items, the seller must post the item to the address which appears on the transaction details page. If the item is delivered in person or if a seller posts the item to a different address (for example, if the buyer asks that you send to another address on the basis that it is a “work address” or a “gift” address) then you will not be eligible for re-imbursement under the terms of the programme."

Therefore it appears to be @stpaulinus in the wrong, not @Ianwallace

It's why whenever I accept Paypal for payment I DON'T allow people to collect the goods .. you have NO proof that they received goods that Paypal will accept, ie an online traceable tracking number from a known courier etc.

This should be taken up between yourselves and Paypal, NOT aired on Landyzone. I suggest you both take it to email or the Paypal dispute process please.

guys lets back this up a little as you are all getting confused.

the stpaulinus and I agreed on a price on the nanocom unit
the stpaulinus gave me an address for me to post it to.
the stpaulinus then pays me through his girlfriends PayPal account
me the seller then buys a Hermes postage label.
the package is now ready to be shipped on Monday
stpaulinus contacts me saying that I have sent it to the wrong address
I tell the stpaulinus that I have to send it to the address shown on the PayPal account for insurance and buyers protection
stpaulinus then starts getting nasty towards me, saying that I'm ripping him of and wants a full refund

HOW AM I RIPPING HIM OFF

I told the buyer that the package is still on the side and I can quite easily change the address
the buyer then starts to accuse me of ripping him off being rude towards me and insulting me
I told him I would be quite happy to refund him his money minus the postage that I have paid as I cannot reclaim this back
the buyer then reports me to PayPal,
I have replied to PayPal telling them what has happened and I'm happy for his money to be returned minus the postage
we are now waiting for a response from PayPal

The bottom line is, if I had sent the package to the address that the buyer wanted me to, and it got lost then PayPal would refund his money
strait away because I did not send it to the address that is registered to the PayPal account. I am not covered

stpaulinus could easily claim that he never had the item, and in the eyes of PayPal that would be correct as it was not the address registered on the PayPal account
I would not have a leg to stand on.
this has happened to me before and I have lost the item I posted and the money
how ever if stpaulinus had put a note on the paypal system then we would not be having this problem

the point is stpaulinus is being very nasty towards me very insulting towards me also and there is no need for any of this.

the reason why I didn't contact stpaulinus about the address is because if somone sends you money for good sold you are bound by the terms and conditions of PayPal to send the item
to the address as shown.
end of, read the terms and conditions on PayPal its all there to see in black and white.

the parcel is with me,
paypal is sorting out the money
I just wanted to alert people of what a nasty piece of work this gentleman is
