:ballchain: << Political Correctness

I would just go buy a disco but i was wondering if there was anything more reliable (that doesnt need as much TLC welding wise etc)

Maybe im a big kid but im thinking V8 4.6 HSE P38 with 7 seat conversion and LPG kit for motorway? But you guys know a lot more than me i hope. What do you think?

PS im not on a huge budget.

Did I just see 'Reliable', 'LPG' and 'P38' all in the space of a couple of lines?

:hysterically_laughi

Lol thats why i asked...

I admit i know nothing about the rangies at all.

I personally would love another disco.

What are the v8 auto disco's like?

my 300 was ok just lacked guts on big inclines with the caravan on the back.

Disco 2 V8?

Not hugely expensive (V8's are cheap compared to TD5's) and No rust to worry about! :)

Do you not have a very long left arm?:eek::rolleyes:
:bounce:

back in the day the kids cassette tapes used to pi$$ me off,
so long arm, grab cassette, sun roof option was best while nicely motoring.
trouble was the kids had long arms also,
lost me Chris Rea - highway to hell tapes that way....

I take it pull out radios are out also?.......:focus:

Keep looking then...

Lol ohh the sacrifice...

Actually thats a nice find he might swap for this Renault E-Wasta-Space

The TD5's have the stering wheel audio control thing - so its possible the wiring is there in the V8's too so you could easily add it (i did this for the cruise control on my TD5, a very common upgrade)

Failing that, how about an after makret stereo with remote control glued onto the drivers door somewhere?

My TD5 also had headphone sockets for the kids so they could listen to crap loudly... no idea how it worked, i don't have kids, but, it was there!

My dads got the 4.6 p38 with the lpg in the back and theres no way you would get 7 seats in there unless there the pretend seats like the ones in the middle of my 90! :p

I got a 3.9 v8, lpg, auto, disco 1. I bought it last year £1400, believe it or not its got no rust anywhere! Bit of paint bubblin on the rear door but thats it. Pulls like a train uphill, all iv needed is a new water pump. 7 seats, and its the ES so its got leather, heated seats, c/control, elec seats, windows, mirrors etc. And it all works!!! Sunroof leaks a bit tho.id get another 4 sure!
