i have a td5 disco and it is leaking from the seal behind on the driveshaft in the axle behind the cv joint, i replaced the seal twice and didn't catch it when i put the shaft back in, but it is still leaking. duckworths recon it is the wheel bearing alowing movement when on the road ( no play when jacked up) and therefore stritching the seal so the oil comes out, i'v just bought a new bearing but am waiting for the new seal to come monday so can't fit it yet. Has anyone elso had this trouble before as i'l be really ****ed off if i fit the bearing and it still leaks as the bearing cost a fortune. any help would be really appreciated ta

had same brob with mine on the driveshaft the flange that sits against the seal had moved back a couple of mill hence not sealing properly
if no play in wheel hub why change wont be that cuaseing problem my wheel hub had lots of play and never caused any oil spill i would look at the drive shaft as you may have moved the flange seal by accident

knock it forward a little to tighten up the seal gentle tap at a time befor you refit drive shaft in axle 5mm or so would do
