has anyone ever came a cross the problem i have with my discovery 1 300tdi ? the problem has just started with no warning it feels as if ther is a judder/misfire when you are driving in the 2500/3000 rpm range but seems to clear its self above this range ? doesnt make any differance what gear your in ? doesnt have this problem if you parked and rev the engine. have had all of injectors and pump etc checked and alls ok,

anyone have any ideas??

just seemed to appear was ok when driven in the morning and then appeared on jourey home later in day??

Is it an auto or manual. Auto has the fly-by-wire gubbins and this sounds like 'the usual' Throttle Position Sensor problem .. replacement fixes it.
 
no its not speed related just at that rpm range and its a manual , have now started to pull out hair as have not managed to track down fault as yet :confused::confused::confused:

Hi just a updat to post have now cured problem was one of the trunions on uj where it fits on to box bearing had broken up so only running on three of four legs , didnt see it it started to make noise
