I have recently got hold of an autobiography 2011 (fab car (so far)) it has a USB port that you can stream music from.
Does any one know if it's possible to get a USB bluetooth adapter to stream the music, but also have the phone paired to the (car) system for phone calls?

If so could any one recommend one as there seem to be from relatively inexpensive to quite a lot for not much.....

If I remember correctly can't you Bluetooth music to it I know you can on new sports range rover freelander disco and evoque but can't remember on the older stuff, with what your trying to do I would say no it is not possible

Ok looks like I need a lead AH22-19H461 AA LFS02400-001 D to integrate with the car properly. Apart from stealers.... and fleabay is there any were else I could get one.

Are you using a android device or a iPhone?

if it is iPhone you will need the specific iPhone cable if it is android you will need to either Bluetooth it or use a 3.5mm jack to jack lead.

That's how we use it on the new stuff when I get a 11plate in at work il have a little look to jog my memory

Android. What I am trying to achieve is to control it with the steering wheel buttons, hence the idea of the correct cable and a bluetooth on the end of it that would do apple control. If that make sense.

So your trying to use the steering wheel controls to operate the android phone/tablet audio. Didn't know if that was possible.
Via a cable.

If you connect via Bluetooth and use the phone side ie phone book and calls you can use the controls on right side of steering wheel.

If you connect via Bluetooth to audio you can use the skip left and right to change tracks I know this works on all 12 plate onwards but not sure about 11 plate.

Does you dash have the digital dash?

Yes it has a digital dash.
I can't connect bluetooth audio
I didn't know about the right side of the steering wheel, I will give that a try.
Thanks

Your steering wheel should look like this as you can see the phone buttons on the right along with the voice activation

Right Bluetooth audio streaming started from 2012my.
Android will only work via the aux socket and can only be controlled via the device.
It seems that anything made from apple ie iPhone ipod with the landrover lead will work with the touch screen.
It seems landrover forgot about Android but as there is so many different versions they seem to just use the aux lead and be done with it.

Only way I can see is use aux lead and use device to change song etc or use a USB pen drive and that will let you use the touch screen function.

Or switch to the apple brand and I'm a big hater of apple stuff android all the way.

There have been several reports of connection problems with CrApple Idiotphones.
