You know, it's a funny thing, but I've never come across a Moose in Rotherham. But you find me one, I'll run it over with the Jeep and barbecue it, you bring the beer and we can get fat and rat arsed at the same time.;)

Okay, replace the word moose with small child, grandma, pet dog, supermodel in distress. Etc. Swerving those things is damn dangerous, i'd never own one purely for that reason. Sell the jeep and use the money to fund said bbq though and i'll bring some beers ;)

my mav was 2.7 turbo diesel, didn't know about the svo, damn, but was a damn fine truck off road, would go anywhere a disco would, almost, just one spot i used to get stuck and the discos didn't, small hump, i'd end up see sawing on top with wheels not touching ground lol, but apart from that was great.

no tin worms on it, clutch would need replacing soon, (£600)job, as if left for a few days, would start slipping then after a good drive or couple days use would calm down and pull like a train again. brakes rear needed £70 parts plus labour, but to be honest wasn't doing it for me anymore.

however, will always have a place in my heart for the maverick. was my 2nd and 4th off road vehicle.

my 3rd was probably best off road out of all my trucks, swb pajero, snorkel etc etc

this was delivering meals on wheels under 4x4 response network in reading, 3 days in a row
