Guys I need help.
How to remove the front sensor of ABS Discovery 1- 300Tdi ?
Is it just a pull out or develop both bolts on top swivel pin.
.... if there is a topic with pictures how it's done I will be grateful!

Its a long time ago but i think the sensors lever out with a small screwdriver (rather than just tug on the wire!). The issue actually is that they tend to work there way out of position by themselves, and cause an ABS light due to poor signal, so owners periodically tap them back down again, they are only held in place by friction courtesy of a thin walled copper cylinder/sleeve device (part 26) with slots in it which is “supposed” to hold them in place :(

I had so much grief from my ABS reporting a RH wheel fault when the issue was a crack in the wire nr the LH sensor…swapping sensors did not change the fault code…...I (eventually ) concluded that when the module doesnt actually know which wheel is a fault it defaults to always blaming the LH wheel…lying bastid.

Mission accomplished,
replacement of - ABS Sensor Front - STC1749.
STC1749 - Sensor - Wheel Speed - Front Wheels - ABS Discovery 1, Defender.

Attention:
- if you don't have oil seal ABS - (25)
-remove only the sensor, do not take out sensor bush ABS - (26)
you'll break the gasket !!!
