hi hippo, yes i do own a garage, and its a hobby doing freelander projects...
they do eventually get sold through the garage but only when i have used them for a while...
i just like the fact that you can take a £800 knackered freelander thats seen better days and transform it..
not everyone's cup of tea, but a lot of people like them..(not on here obviously)

at no point have i tried to promote my business, that was not and is not my intention. it was too show what could be done !!!!!..that's all....
i have only responded to the torrent of abuse from other members, i did not start slagging their cars, even though i don't really like them that much, i do appreciate they are great off road vehicles and are a lot of fun...

Fair play taking an £800 bag of **** and turning it into something better, but you couldn't even tell me the headgasket had been done when i contacted you on ebay

Whats the point of doing all that work if you're not going to do work thats deemed necessary for a k series

sorry for not replying to you on ebay about headgasket, had so many questions, and sold it very quick...it had a replacement headgasket on it ..

You did reply to me, i've just dug it out.

"hi, no history of head gasket, no modified oil rail, had a kit fitted that i had made in germany to allow 22" wheels to fit, px i would need pics and details, be quick though"

No history of head gasket on a K series? So you fitted a new headgasket after the ebay question?

after looking through handbooks, i found a receipt for head gasket and timimg belt inside the stereo guide booklet, must have been after you asked me the question..

thanks Poirot !!!!

do you have to write so large? some of us is edumicated on ere and dont write in crayon anymore, we get to play with the big pens :p

so what your saying is you did all this work on a gaylander but only checked the documentation after you had put it up for sale even though a head gasket replacement is one of the most important things folk look for with a k series???

your either a dodgy dealer, full of **** or my guess

BOTH :doh::welcome2:

Give him another 30 minutes and i'm sure he'll come up with a full service history book...probably at the back of the ashtray at the mo...

That gaylander looks like summat some wannabe Asian gangsta would drive round Bradford..

Well I'm sure all his vat and tax returns are as correct as his vehicle documents..isn't that true Neil?

No wait..its your bosses website/company...strange how the email and tel no's are the same as yours...Did you pay Vat on the gaylander then?

hi, cant believe a gaylander is getting so much attention, thanks...

and i have just found a million pounds under the back seats...!!!!

finding full service history behind the ashtray was a sarcastic response to storm99's ****ty comment...

So tell me Neil..the one off freelander on your website that says 'sold' and was up for £6995 + vat...was then sold on ebay for £5600 with no VAT...do customs and excise know about this..?

Bit daft your ebay name being the same as your company email isn't it?

Keep digging sir,

all you need to know now if anyone googles your company this thread will show what a dodgy trader you are and since the contact details are the same as your username hopefully we will help prevent honest folk getting ripped off :D

and since landyzone is such popular site chances are it will appear pretty highly on google too ;)

So,

The freelander is still listed on your website that bobbler linked above?

Did the winner on ebay pull out after seeing it or re you just a little slow at updating your website?
