My dad has got a 2000 reg P38, not so long ago it lost the sync code and would not turn over, some one on here very kindly let him borrow there sync mate and it got it sorted out, however the other day it lost it's sync again, so he got on the good old world wide web to price up sync mates and he really isnt happy.

I was reading the latest copy of LRO magazine and there is a article about the P38 Range Rover becoming the new Classic Range Rover. Im not entirley sure my dad would agree with that one. :)

just re sync my becm was one of the best £100 i spent never gona get caught out again,,keep in glove box ,,,if he sells car can sell on sync gizmo ,,,never gona lose no brainer:doh:

Could just be low battery volts causing the ECU's to throw a wobbly. V8 or Diesel? It's a more common problem on the V8. John Ellis? Nothing to do with PB&E in the past I suppose?

Praise indeed from the mag who's been trying to pretend the P38 doesn't exist following their p38 project car disaster!
